FAQs
Can I rent a car for one day?
Yes. The minimum rental period is 24 hours, beginning from the agreed collection or delivery time.
Who is eligible to rent?
Drivers should be at least 22 years old and have held a valid driving licence for at least two years. Other driver profiles may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
What security deposit is required?
The total refundable security deposit ranges from S$800 to S$2,000, depending on the driver’s profile. A S$200 initial payment is required to secure the booking, with the remaining deposit paid before vehicle handover.
What documents do I need?
Singapore citizens and permanent residents need a valid Singapore driving licence and NRIC. Foreign drivers should provide their passport or FIN together with the driving licence required for them to drive legally in Singapore.
Where do I collect the car?
Cars are collected from 638 Veerasamy Road, Singapore 200638 (3 mins away from Jalan Besar MRT). Islandwide delivery and collection are available at S$50 per trip, subject to scheduling.
Can I drive the car into Malaysia?
Only with prior written approval from LuxeDrive. Do not take the vehicle outside Singapore without written confirmation.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellation is free when written notice is received more than 72 hours before the scheduled collection time. Cancellations within 72 hours, same-day cancellations and no-shows will result in forfeiture of the reservation deposit.

Many listings online are unlicensed or privately owned vehicles operating illegally.
Such rentals may lack proper insurance coverage, expose you to legal risks, and provide no protection in the event of an accident or dispute.
